What is ICT - Information & Communication Technology?
This relates to the type of Information and Communication that is available and being used in the school classrooms to educate your children, when they're at school.
What is Access Technology?
Access Technology enables adults and young children with a visual impairment to be able to independently access and use a wide range of computers and computer software that can be used to support them with their visual needs.
What examples of Access Technology are available?
There are many types of products that are available to help children with a visual impairment and these are good example of three of them.
Screen Magnification software – this software enables the visually impaired user to be able to magnify information that is displayed on the screen of a computer and enlarge it.
Screen Reading software - this software would be used for a visually impaired person who is registered blind or severely sight impaired.
CCTV Video Magnifiers – these products can be portable or used on a desktop to enlarge text and information that is located on a moving XY table and is being enlarged with an auto-focussing camera.

Yes, there are many Web Sights that have information about a whole range of products, which can be accessed and viewed on your computer.
Most of these Web Sites would normally include an on-line price list and provide you with demonstration copies of their products, if you phone them.
