Textiles
Every year the British public throw away over a million tonnes of textiles, the vast majority of which could be reused or recycled. In addition to this, nearly two million pairs of shoes are thrown out each week.
National Blind Childrens Society have enlisted I & G Cohen to recycle on our behalf, in various locations throughout the UK. For every tonne that is collected National Blind Childrens Society receives £50.00.
This may not sound like a great deal of money, however please bear in mind that the charity has no outgoing costs for this donation. To date I & G Cohen have donated a substantial amount of money to the charity, for which we are very grateful.
It is with this in mind that we ask you to please consider donating your unwanted clothing, bedding & curtains, paired shoes and handbags & belts on behalf of National Blind Childrens Society.
If you would like to find out if the collectors are operating in your area please complete the Request More Information form and we will contact you.
Alternatively please visit the website of I & G Cohen to find out more information about their recycling scheme at www.igcohen.com or tel:0870 872 5066.
