Recycling:
Printer Cartridges
There are in the region of over thirty million ink cartridges dumped each year throughout the UK, this is the same weight as eighteen blue whales.
For every printer or toner cartridge that is recycled for National Blind Childrens Society we receive £1.00. So even if only a small percentage of people take part and recycle the cartridges, it will add up to a great total.
Recycling your cartridges is easy and there is no cost to you. It is something that you can do with your printer at home or even encourage colleagues to do the same at work.
All you have to do is:
- Place your used printer cartridges in freepost envelopes provided.
- Post it off.
- Larger cartridges can be boxed and posted using a freepost label. Alternatively we can arrange for a courier to collect large quantities from your work place.
If you would like to help the environment and recycle your cartridges then please complete the Request More Information form and we will be in contact with you.
