 Mobile phone

Estimates show that there are close to ninety million phones that are forgotten  in drawers and cupboards throughout the UK. These weigh almost six times the weight of the London Eye.

For every phone that is recycled for the National Blind Children's Society we receive £2.25. So if even only a small percentage of people take part, it will all add up to a great total.

Taking part is really easy and there is NO cost to you. It is something that you can do at home and even encourage everyone at work to take part.

You simply have to:

  1. Remove your sim card (as it contains all of your personal contacts).
  2. Place your broken or unwanted mobile phone in a freepost envelope provided.
  3. Post it off.

If you would like everyone at work to get involved, we can send you a small desk-top dispenser for envelopes, at your request. Alternatively we can arrange for a courier to come and collect them if you have in excess of 35 phones.

Please complete the Request More Information Form if you would like to get involved and we will be in contact with you.
