THAMES VALLEY ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND

The National Blind Children’s Society have for the past 2 years held a family fun day at Thames Valley Adventure Playground in Maidenhead. The days have always been a great success and we would like to once again invite children with a visual impairment and their families to attend a fun day at the Thames Valley Adventure Playground, Maidenhead on Tuesday 3rd August 2010 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

TVAP is a special place for children with disabilities and their families. Playing has never been so much fun! The playground includes a massive indoor play area with soft play area, fully equipped arts and craft room, multi sensory white room, dressing up room, computer room and quiet conservatory area. It is fully accessible. Outside there is lots to do including special swings with bucket seats and harness, bikes, go-carts, castle play area, music structure, play area, toddlers area, aerial runway with bucket seat and full harness to name a few! Full details can be found on their website www.tvap.co.uk

Children with a visual impairment plus one parent or guardian are free. Immediate family members are £2 per person. Bring your own picnic lunch and we’ll provide drinks. This day is suitable for families with children under the age of 16.

We do hope that you will consider coming to join us for what we hope will be a fantastic family fun day!
