NBCS & BRIDGES LONDON Launch
Tuesday 21st September 2010
The National Blind Children’s Society would like to invite pre-school children with a visual impairment and their families to attend an NBCS/ BRIDGES welcome and information day on Tuesday 21st September 2010 between 12noon until 2.30pm. We would also be very pleased to see parents whose children have already started school.
The launch will take place on Tuesday 21st September 2010 and will be held at The Jesus Centre, 83 Margaret Street, London, W1W 8TB. (Entrance in Marylebone Passage – nearest Tube is Oxford Circus). This is a very central location in London and we hope this will encourage families to come and join us.
During the day you will be able to hear about what the National Blind Children’s Society can offer in way of support including family support, information, education support/advice and ICT advice together with details regarding the group Bridges which was started to support children with disabilities in the London area.
The day includes our own hospitality rooms and a sandwich buffet lunch will be provided for all of our guests.
We will also welcome an Early Years Music Specialist to the day who will run some fun music workshops with sensory activities for the children and adults to learn and enjoy.
Booking is essential. For further information or to receive a booking form contact: Sally Freeman at the National Blind Children’s Society on 01278 764775 or email sally.freeman@nbcs.org.uk
