Recreational Activities:

Family weekends

"Everything was well organised, the children were so well cared for".

Family Weekends provide opportunities for families of children with visual impairment to take a break and meet other families in similar situations. The families are encouraged to attend as a family, including siblings, providing the opportunity to share experiences whilst taking part in well planned activities for both the children and adults. The weekends are an invaluable opportunity for the children and their parents.

"I was very impressed with the whole weekend, particularly the high level of input from the NBCS staff who were always there to talk to, ask advice and relax with".
