Family Fun Day Battersea Park Children's Zoo

The National Blind Children’s Society had a fabulous family day out at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo on Monday 11^th August 2008.

Seven families joined the NBCS team in the Tree Tops Hospitality area where we enjoyed welcome drinks for all on arrival.   Families then had the opportunity to watch feeding time at Barley Mow Farm and visit the monkeys, otters, meerkats, lemurs and coatis.

At lunchtime we all met up for a picnic with lots of time to chat and make new friends.   After lunch we had our own handling session with some of the animals.

The sun shone and we all had a lovely day.
