image

Liverpool is European Capital of Culture 2008 and to help celebrate, the National Blind Children’s Society have decided to hold their annual Christmas Party in the fantastic surroundings of The Ballroom at Liverpool Town Hall.

The Party will take place between 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 22nd November.

Put on your best party outfits and come and join us.

To make the party very special we will roll the red carpet out for our families.    There will be drinks on arrival at 2pm in the small ballroom, a pianist playing Christmas music and information stands for mum and dad.

Then at 2.30pm we will make a grand entrance into the Ballroom.

Party time continues with Rumple the Clown our children’s entertainer and his helper providing lots of fun and games for all the family.

Hungry?   Enjoy yummy party food such as Christmas shaped sandwiches, christmas jelly and cream, pizza, cheeseburger, chocolate yule logs, gingerbread santa, meringue snowmen and Father Christmas fairy cakes.

We are hoping for a very special visitor to come and see us.   We have written to Father Christmas, care of the North Pole and asked if he can come and visit our party.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will be able to do so.

Costs are: Children with a visual impairment plus a parent/ guardian are free.   Immediate family £2.50 each.

Booking is essential – we will have 150 seats.
