Thank You for ICT Funding

The generosity of a charitable foundation which focuses on special educational needs has made a substantial donation to NBCS’s programme of ICT support.

The Boshier-Hinton Foundation, which is based in Essex, has donated towards the cost of specialised equipment for children and young people with visual impairment.

Through our Access Technology programme children are individually assessed and advised on study and recreational aids such as large-screen monitors, ‘talking’ computers and easy-to-read keyboards, as well as specialised software to help them achieve their full potential and participate in the modern world.

NBCS relies totally on grants, legacies and donations to enable us to continue our support work with families of children and young people with visual impairment throughout their years of education.
