Space Age Easter party
NATIONAL SPACE CENTRE LEICESTER
The National Blind Children’s Society is inviting all children with a visual impairment and their families to our 15th birthday Easter Party at the National Space Centre in Leicester on Sunday 28 March, 2010.
At the National Space Centre, the UK’s largest planetarium, you can challenge yourself on one of over 150 hands-on activities. Discover a whole new world – whether you are immersed in a 360-degree full dome experience, blasting off to the ice moon Europa on the unique 3D SIM ride or enjoying the six interactive galleries and amazing 42m high Rocket Tower, the award-winning National Space Centre is an out-of-this-world visit for all the family.
The day includes our own hospitality rooms with plenty of parking for NBCS guests and there is direct access into the Space Centre. Refreshments will be provided on arrival, with a finger buffet lunch of hot and cold food. It should be a fantastic day!
NBCS Children's Servces Team representatives will be on hand to provide family support, information and educational advice.
Booking is essential. Cost: Children with a visual impairment plus one parent or guardian are free. Immediate family members only are £5 each. Children under four are free.
For further information or to receive a booking form contact Sally Freeman at the National Blind Children’s Society on 01278 764775 or email sally.freeman@nbcs.org.uk
We hope you will come and join us for an Easter party to remember...
