Go filming in California
There is a great opportunity for a teenager who is blind to join an expenses paid film project in California.
NBCS has been contacted by a TV production company which is making a BBC documentary about Dan Kish, the American pioneer of the echo-location technique for people who are blind.
They are looking for a young (aged 12-16) British teenager who is blind and has no previous experience of echo-location to go out to California – all expenses paid – for two weeks’ filming in mid-August 2010. The teenager chosen will be mentored by one of Dan’s recent trainees.
Princess Productions’ Alex Painter says: ‘ We’re looking for a suitable British child, whose own story and education in echo-location would be the main focus of the documentary.
‘We'll be looking to get people in for a chat as soon as possible, ideally before 23 July or early the following week. If you're keen to be considered for the show, do contact me as soon as possible on 0207 985 1702 or email alex.painter@princesstv.com .’
