NEAP
The National Educational Advocacy Partnership
A group of independent specialists within the visual impairment sector have worked together to develop a national partnership for Educational Advocacy for young people who are visually impaired.
The partnership is helping increasingly to ensure that all young people (0 – 25 years) with visual impairment, who require Educational Advocacy, have the opportunity to receive support from an independent Educational Advocate. The aim of this partnership is to support parents’ efforts by producing independent accessible information and deliver a consistent and systematic approach with professional quality standards.
It is with this in mind that we are very excited to announce that the Launch of this Partnership will take place at the Commonwealth Club in London on Tuesday 20th November 2007, from 12.00pm – 3.00pm (lunch will be served).
This will be an ideal opportunity to share why this partnership is so vital in the wider efforts to ensure that children who are visually impaired receive the appropriate educational and specialist provisions they require.
