Families of children with visual difficulties can now have a special memento of the Royal Wedding to keep – in large print.

The National Blind Children’s Society (NBCS) has come to an arrangement with the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry to offer free copies of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding programme, including the Order of Service, in large-print format individually customised to each child’s eye condition.

Families can register with NBCS’s CustomEyes Books to request a copy of this historic souvenir edition through www.nbcs.org.uk/customeyes or by phone on 01278 764 764.

NBCS Chief Executive Carolyn Fullard said: ‘We are thrilled to be able to offer our families the opportunity to own this unique souvenir in an accessible format.

‘The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was a great cause for celebration and we wanted everyone with visual difficulties to have a reminder of this special day.’
