The National Blind Children’s Society CustomEyes Book Service recognises the need to provide tailormade large-print books for the benefit of children who find it hard to read commercially available print. Each book can be produced in the font size, paper colour and format to suit individual children’s eye conditions.

We have more than 2,700 titles, comprising fiction, non-fiction and educational textbooks which we can adapt for individuals or as produce in standard large print for library resources. We are also building an ever-increasing selection of titles from the Oxford Reading Tree.
