Payroll Giving is a scheme that allows people paid through PAYE to make donations to any
The scheme is totally tax efficient in that the donation includes the tax that would have been deducted from pay, so instead of the tax going to the Treasury it will go to the selected charity.
How does it works
If you donate £5.00 a month it will only cost you £4.00, that’s because HM Revenue and Customs pays the rest! Payroll giving donations cost even less for higher rate tax payers.
