NBCS has reluctantly decided to sell our two seaside mobile holiday homes at Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset and Southport on Merseyside.

Our charity has been badly hit by the last few years of economic downturn and we have had to make some very hard decisions to reduce our costs. This now unfortunately includes selling the mobile homes, and so we will not be able to take bookings for subsidised holidays in 2013.

NBCS Chief Executive Carolyn Fullard says: ‘We very much hope that as the economic climate improves we will be able to reinstate this popular service in the future, and will let families know as soon as we can do so.

‘In the meantime, please accept our apologies for any disappointment this might have caused you.’
